Dear Daddy Spencer RIP

The word reached early to Finland that the singer Mbulelo ‘Daddy Spencer’ Micheal Mato had passed away in February 2023. The sad news left a kind of an emptiness inside me as we never met. I didn’t know Mbulelo personally but we communicated for 2 years when we were working together with our single ‘Stop Meddling’. Last time we talked he was in Africa. I always found him very kind and and so talented and determined what he was visioning his projects to be. Im thankful for the opportunity I got to share with him in time. We were linked up by my friend Mikko Rossi. That time Mbulelo was in Sweden. I sent few tunes for Mbulelo to preview and was surprised for what he chose he wanted to sing on. He recorded his vocals in Sweden.

I want to send my condolences to Mbulelo’s family and friends and am truly sorry for your loss for loosing this kind person from around you. As a gesture I want to send to the world the version of the song ‘Stop Meddling’ with an alternative melody to the 7inch vinyl record we released in 2021. This is the original melody that Mbulelo sang on, later we decided to change the melody for the 7inch. I want to present this free for the people and I just hope his talent and vibes spread to the world.
